Angie and Ed Hubbard have renovated a house they own at 1125 Bond St., and it’s a veritable Allman Brothers Band shrine. It’s a short-term vacation rental, available online soon, and we’re having our fall membership gathering there Sept. 11 so that our current — and new — members can see it. It will knock your socks off!

The house is on our music registry (https://bit.ly/45TKrC5), and a plaque on the front of the house tells you that guitarist Duane Allman and his young family lived in the upstairs apartment before moving to the Big House on Vineville Avenue.

Inside, you’ll find a jaw-dropping, multifloor mural by Kevin “Scene” Lewis that sweeps along the stairway up to the second floor. (By the way, Lewis is scheduled to attend the event to discuss his work.)

As an added incentive, one lucky member who attends will win a two-night stay at the house.
