Historic Macon's preservation committee meets the second Thursday of every month at 5:30pm at the HMF HQ (950 Third Street). The committee is responsible for the following:
Coordinates political advocacy activities
Oversees national award-winning neighborhood revitalization program(currently working in Beall’s Hill)
Acquires tax credits and gap financing for preservation projects
Creates, approves and implements rehabilitation plans for historic properties
