Join Historic Macon and the Friends of Rose Hill Cemetery on Sunday, April 23 for the Spring Rose Hill Ramble.
Jim Barfield will lead the tour and take visitors through the history of the William Wolfe Cemetery, past Oak Ridge, and down to the Bond and Johnston monuments. Oak Ridge is the historically African American cemetery that was officially set aside for black Maconites by City Council in 1851.
The tour departs from the Madison St. gate and takes place April 23 from 2-4pm.
