GET READY TO SHOP AT OUR SPRING FLEA MARKET
Our spring Flea Market is right around the corner.
We’re holding the spring sale April 12-14 down at our Flea Market warehouse, located at 357 Oglethorpe St. Our volunteers have been working since late fall to collect, clean and price all the items that generous contributors send our way.
We have never seen the warehouse so full! We have more artwork and lamps this cycle than we’ve ever had, and we have anything you can imagine on the floor. From furniture and antiques to china, knick-knacks and much more, you won’t believe what we’ve gathered. (Look at the last few weeks of our Facebook and Instagram pages to get an idea.)
Friday, April 12, is a ticketed VIP preview sale, with a limited number of tickets available. They are $75 each, which gets you into the warehouse to shop before anyone else. Buy them HERE.
Entry to the sale on Saturday, April 13 (8 a.m.-4 p.m.), and Sunday, April 14 (noon-4 p.m.), is free.
We hold the Flea Market just twice a year. It's our biggest fund-raiser. So please tell your friends how much fun it is and bring 'em along if they've never been.
And remember: Members of Historic Macon get 15% off their purchases, so join today if you're not part of our preservation family. You can do so HERE.
Thank you for your support.
WE NEED YOUR PRESERVATION AWARD NOMINATIONS
We’ll hand out our 2024 Preservation Awards in May during our annual meeting. It’s one way we salute deserving projects and people in our community who’ve gone above and beyond in their preservation efforts.
We need your help! If there’s a special project or person that you think we should consider for an award this year, please let us know by using our nomination form. (You can access it by hitting the blue button below.) The nomination deadline is March 29.

Our mission is to revitalize communities by preserving architecture and sharing history.
One of the benefits of your property residing in a National Register Historic District is preservation incentives. Historic tax credits allow citizens to undertake rehabilitation projects at a reasonable cost and Historic Macon is here to walk you through that process.
A key part of Historic Macon's mission is education and that includes the building trades. Take advantage of our free tool library and workshops to make improvements to your home.
